even with full mounts and synthetic fuid( redline-mt 90, royal syncromesh, etc. ) the tranny is still harsh. At least we dont have sycros issues simular to sti's or replacing the cluch like evos.
If money is an issue just buy the cobb dp and keep the stock cbe. Cobb'c cbe quiter than the stock exhaust so id say remove resonaters with the dp and see how you like that. Also Turbo XS is an option JSCspeed.com has the dp/rp combo for just over $300.

for a all season snow and all around use bump up to a 225/40 or 45 and get a non directional tire there in my opinion smoother, less noise, and dont pull like the stockers near as much
