Same problem in my CX9 ('08 too). Is not nice. I didn't experience such problem in other vehicles owned before (not Mazdas). I'm going to show this to the service but since is not so urgent, will wait until next scheduled visit.

Just wonder whether would be possible to cut out similar on the left as it is on the right. I'm really upset with the open cargo space. Here in Europe is a standard to have the cover in every station car and nobody even consider this an extra. What makes me also lots of fun is that mazda offers...
