    Loud road noise...Is that normal?

Could be a European / UK thing only then. Check http://www.michelin.co.uk/. They exist.

    Loud road noise...Is that normal?

Just swapped the old Yokos off the alloys and replaced with the Michelins. Tyre size was 225 65 R17.

    Winter tires

I've just fitted 4 new Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2 tyres and they're excellent. Quiet and grippy in the zero degrees weather.

    Loud road noise...Is that normal?

I bought a brand new 2.2L 2WD Auto and it makes a lot of road noise that certainly wasn't present in the identical test drive vehicle. Nice to drive, but the road noise is excessive. Sounds like a seal or a some sound deadening is missing somewhere. Actually quite disappointed, but am...
