I am having the same problem but did you tried the 1R wire, i have a non bose too I first connected to the brown wire but tom i will try the ACC to connect to the remote amp wire If you have find out about the cigarette ac lmk too Nice black protege btw I will Post new pics soon of my 2 gen...
