huh? dosent the pin go in before that ball and spring?? the ball and spring go into the gear case that isnt even bolted on when your trying to line that pin up..

ok im having a serious issue here with my diff replacement...I removed the roll pin from the shift linkage and lifted up the shafts and the taller shaft with all the gears and all totally slid out so i got that back in after installing the new lsd but now i CAN NOT get those linkages lined up in...

are yo sure its not your axles man? you said it usually makes the noise in first when your turning...sounds like a bad cv joint

well the noise got really bad so i got it tore apart and WOW the bearing is totally destroyed!! after only about 500 miles on the new bearing its now trash..so what could have caused this besides improper pressing of the bearing? and i just had this thing at H&F tire and had 4 new tires put on...

so no one knows what a worn hub looks like or how it could cause a new bearing to go bad so fast?
