I got a quote from an installer today: $600 just to add a kick sensor. The guy should be aware that my car already comes with a power liftgate, as he confirmed with me twice that there's an existing button to operate the gate. The price sounds a bit outrageous. Or reasonable? Anyone? By the way...

One feature I miss a lot on the 2015 is the ability to view the rear cam without putting car in reverse, e.g. to see how close the vehicle behind is, when you're parked. Mazda Connect UI no longer has this "hidden" feature.

My 2018 CX-5 sometimes (but not always) has water mist buildup in one of the headlights after car wash or heavy rain, but these would go away, unlike the milky deposits described in the TSB.

That explains why it's more appealing than other models seen before, and the interior details are amazing. The first mod I'm going to have is remove the roof rails. Makes car look like bald guy with hair on both sides only.
