Don't understand a lot about mazda motor saw that have ddhc 16 val does that mean the motor cost more to for a oil change and other stuff or it has small upgrade inside that make a huge difference or is that just a motor size ddhc mean?

Ya the first the the belt was to tight on the alt and end up change the power steering belt too as well it was easy to change after he show me how it done

Took a friend shop he showed how to fix

mazda protage 1.6l sold Sold Shocks in ok shape Good auto trans Good tires All the rest parts are in good shape Send to scrap yard in few days New alternator new master cylder New breaks Upgrade dip stick for plastic to aluminum

How do check if the belt is lose and how do ajust tje alt to make it work

01 protege 1.6l change a alt on it and after install the belt keeps making a noise and still had same issue as before how do fix what thoght was fix not was after it start it but dud not ajust right?
