    will +45 offset rub?

The offset relates to the distance the mounting plate for the wheel is from the center line of the wheel, measured in millimetres, a +55 offset means the mount for the wheel to hub is 55 mm towards the outside of the wheel, a -55 offset would mean the mount is placed towards the hub or closer to...

I just did the H&R camberbolts, I think eibach makes some...and go to delsingmotorsport.com to turn the strut bearing

    will +45 offset rub?

The stock set up as per mazda is around 0.9 or -0.5, it saves tires and causes understeer for 'safety' reasons, with about 1.5 inch drop people suggest camber bolts, which I did so I don't know if I could have done with out them...anyway...Eibach pro-kit is a good choice for springs, my H&R's...

    will +45 offset rub?

My speed wears O.Z superleggara's, 7x17, +45 off set, 2154517 nokian tires...I run -1.3 camber up front and have no rub problems...with the stock wheels I pushed it to -2.2 camber and it rubbed on the forward inside section of the wheel well...if i did wheels again I'd go for a 16 inch +45 off...

    Damn mazdaspeed RB Spring!

I have a MSP, stock tokicos w/ H&R springs, the rear is higher than perhaps it should be so it makes sense to me that the rear shocks are a different design than regular protege shocks, the 3/4" difference may be to accomodate the taller 215-45-17 tire size, my concern is that my rear springs...

    Illuminas

Has anyone switched over the stock tokicos with the illuminas? Do they fit? especially in the rear w/2154517 tire on +45 off set wheel and is there a difference in the design over the stock struts...anybody?

    Metal Grinding when turning?

I get the gritty grinding sound when taking tight turns, always had it, doesn't get better or worse...mechanic friend figures its the LSD clutches trying to adjust to the difference in distance the left and right tires travel on accont that the wheels are turned, I push down hard on the gas...

    Lowering springs with (new) struts?

Thats the thing, if people are't conplaining about a product its probably a good product, any of the big brands are quality (tein, eibach,H&R). I think tokico might make a strut'spring combo for the protege, might save some cash+engineered for each other

    Lowering springs with (new) struts?

What I've learned about the msp is that lowering springs drop measurements are not entirely accurate, they are usually engineered for the ES sedan or the P5, espeaially the rear numbers are always off for the MSP. The H&Rs are speced to lower 1.3 inchs, Igot maybe a quater inch in the rear, so...

    Lowering springs with (new) struts?

springs/shock I've got H&R sport springs on the stock tokicos, feels abit soft in the front, they do work well together, no funny bounces car sucks up the road OK. Small ruts are noisier, bangs and thuds possibly because the front struts aren't tuned to the 1.5" drop. The H&Rs ride smoother...

Calling all MSP's with aftermarket Wheels

Wheels are a very personal choice, proper fit is more important, some wheels just don't fit the speed...the real reason to change wheels is to lower the rotational mass/unsprung weight...the kosei's there look to have gotten it right.
