How would I know? I didn't try rotating the converter much, only a little bit back and forth to make sure it was seated all of the way. It moved just fine to align the bolts.

Sorry forgot to specify it was an automatic. The tranny comes with a 3 month warranty and I had to turn the old one in for a core charge.
