Anchorman, you say "It’s amazing how many owners interfere with the settings when all they need to do is set a comfortable temperature and leave it in “auto” and the computer will do the rest including set it back to idle when not needed. That’s instead of roaring away to no good end and...
I have a 2018 Mazda CX-5 and experienced similar issues with the blower. Here is a summary:
Invoice/RO #: 452043 (May 2019) - Complaint of cooling / temperature issues
Invoice/RO #: 453584 (June 2019) - Installed new blower motor #1
Invoice/RO #: 460866 (September 2019) - Complaint of cooling...
I have a 2018 CX-5 Touring. The dealership replaced my fan blower motor three times (June 2019, August 2020, and April 2021). Taking my CX-5 back to dealership next week (September 2021) for the same ticking/tapping & low volume issues. I am thinking "WTF"!
Ok, I have a 2018 CX-5. Navigation not purchased, however I do get latitude and longitude info when I click on Nag/Maps. So, I think I just need the SD. Can anyone provide a link (may be Amazon) for the real-deal certified Mazda map SD card.
Ok, I have a 2018 CX-5. The Maps/Nav does not work (I did not get that option). But it appears all I need is the correct SD, plug it in, and I am good to go? I am thinking, it that be that simple/easy. Or can it?
I have similar concerns when I purchased my 2018 CX-5 FWD Touring. I live in San Antonio where temps range at 95 degrees or higher during the summer. One reason I got the CX-5 over the Forester (besides the price) was the CX-5 Touring has the rear air vents and the Forester did not. But I did...
Ok, I did a little experiment on the way home from work. Heavy, stop and go traffic. "Jerking" was present, but admittedly less annoying after reading this thread and understanding the CX-5 better. In the same traffic, I switched to Sport mode and there was noticeably less "jerking". So...
So, maybe it comes down to this:
1. If you have driven (and loved) manual transmission cars, then there is no jerking.
--or--
1. If you have only basically driven automatic transmission cars, then there is jerking.
I just purchased a 2018 CX-5 and have less than 3000 miles. The opening post...
Just used the 303 Protectant Wipes on my dash and all I can say is "wow"! 303 is perfect for the dash. Not sticky or shiny. 303 leaves a nice matte "premium" finish. Plus, no residual lint. I am going back to buy a whole case of the wipes!
