    Well it will be a while before I will actually be in a position to go out and buy one... and judging by the prices, I will certainly have to go for a used one or one that came off lease or a demo model or something to that effect... the cheapest one I saw on autotrader.ca was one for $17,900.00...

    Thanks Frank, I would want to pay about half in cash and finance the rest. Might get a better rate at the bank though, so a car loan might not be a bad idea. I'd go with standard, but would want AC and sunroof :) And knowing dealer's invoice price will certainly help, too. Consumer Reports site...

When I will be doing the looking aroud part, I will certainly keep me eyes open for used ones at the dealerships... although I don't know whether there are really any used P5's out there now.     Hi Todd, Thank you for the reponse. My jaw just drops a little, when I go to Mazda Canada website and price the 2003 P5 plus moonroof plus AC plus warranty 84 MONTHS / 160,000 KM and get grand total after freight and all PST/GST of $28,014.00 - Jesus Murphy! Hence the idea of getting it used...
