There really should be a sticky about how P5s eat headlight bulbs. (dark) Usually they do last longer than that though, at least 3 mos.

Just refilled today after 370 miles, all highway. The tank took about 11.5 gallons, and the light hadn't turn on yet.

Kicker 12L5 in a ported box here. Plenty loud with 800w pushing it, but i kinda miss having a sealed box.

My first time reading this thread and I just replaced both of my low beams yesterday after both of my silverstars blew out within a week of each other.

Can you post a pic of how the beam pattern looks against a wall? I'm looking into getting a kit pretty soon. My silverstars died after about 5 months.

Too late. :( I just spent 40 bucks at circuit city for the install guy to exactly that.

Sorry if I missed the answer elsewhere, I checked all the stickies and skimmed the rest of the thread titles.. As the thread title asks, where is a good spot on the firewall for me to drill a hole for the power cable? I'm running a 4ga. thru a Protege5 if it matters, TIA.
