    Cracked Engine Block (2018 CX-5)

Once the warranty on my 2018 NA 2.5 CD expired, I started reading up on the cracked head issue, especially through this forum. I approached my Mazda service dept to talk to them about the issue and they confirmed that they had replaced several heads already. When I said that I was concerned as...

    Warranty extension for fail-safe thermostat

I just received the letter from Mazda (Canada) so dropped in to see what my dealership was experiencing. They have already replaced a few thermostats, but confirmed that they would only replace mine, when, and only when I got the designated CEL error code. They said to just file the letter away...

Deal On Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3

I've been running the AS plus 3's for 2 summers now. They are absolutely the best all seasons I have ever used and I considered several brands when my Toyo's first wore out.

What is a good three season tire?

I went with the Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3's and absolutely love how they perform.

Am I the only one happy with the OEM Toyo A36 Tires?

Like you I really liked how the Toyo's performed, until the tread wore down....way too soon. I also went for the Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3's and absolutely love how they perform

Need tires for 2016 CX-5 Sport, Michelin - Defender2, any good?

I bought Pirelli Scorpion AS+3's from COSTCO and absolutely love them. I had considered the Michelin CC2's and the Continental LX25's but the spec's on the Pirelli's matched all my wants.

Need new tires for daughter's 2015 CX-5 Touring AWD

I'll echo that choice. I moved to these Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3's not long after they were introduced in 2021 and have been absolutely delighted with my purchase. I had considered Michelin CC2's and Continental LX25's but the Pirelli's ticked all the boxes of what I was looking for in an All...

Pirelli Scorpion as plus 3 on CX-5 reviews?

And even though they are referred to as "All Season" tires I would never run them in the snowy northern winters which I experience. That's why I run separate winter tires and my Pirelli's in the spring, summer and fall. I wouldn't want a summer tire as they tend to have a shallower tread and...

Pirelli Scorpion as plus 3 on CX-5 reviews?

I only run my Pirelli's from spring to fall, and not in the snow, as I have separate winter tires. I will be on my 3rd season this summer and they have been terrific performers, better overall than my last all season Michelin Premier LTX tires. Quiet, grippy, good in the wet and no V or H. I'd...

Pirelli Scorpion as plus 3 on CX-5 reviews?

I live in Atlantic Canada...definitely in the North, relative to the US. FYI, I bought my Pirelli Scorpion AS +3's at COSTCO.

Pirelli Scorpion as plus 3 on CX-5 reviews?

I too am now running Pirelli Scorpion A/S +3's. I ditched my fast wearing OEM Toyo's about 3 years ago to get these Pirelli's not long after they first came out. I did a lot of comparisons on the Tire Rack website between these and the 2 other tires I was considering...Michelin CrossClimate 2's...

2.5L NA Cracked Cylinder Head with Oil Leaking

We also have small claims court in Canada. Each provincial small claims court has varying degrees of maximum claims, but here on the east coast in New Brunswick where I live the maximum claim is $20,000 (Canadian), where, amongst other claims, you can sue for defective or damaged goods.

Mazda Canada OEM Liners vs All Weather Mats for slushy snowy salty areas?

I have owned both the 3D MAXpiders and currently the Mazda (Canadian) OEM all weather mats. I love the look of the OEM mats with the CX-5 badge, and the fact that they go up the sides to help contain water/snow, and, completely cover the dead pedal. The OEM's are constructed of the same...

    On the fence...CX-5 20” wheels vs 19”

I suspect that the squishiness you feel is what gives those A36's less vibration and harshness that some other tires experience.

    On the fence...CX-5 20” wheels vs 19”

Interesting...as I found the OEM Toyo's handled really well until they started to wear, which many agree wear out way too soon. Of course, I, like many others moved on to another longer lasting brand (like you will be doing) when replacements were due.
