re try checking your alternator. if your battery is faulty the belts might be making some noise.

i have a friend that had the same prob. it came out that his injection was nearly dead. u could try to spray some carb cleaner or wd40 to remove any soil or dust. if it doesnt work then u should perhaps change the injection to a carb. he got a 626 carb in place n is working fine.

i think black is nice. even i have repainted my wheels black. it gives a good look when wet.

thanks for the reply. could sm1 just tell me what are those piping used for in front of the engine. last time i checked it was pusing warm air in the carb.

nope. iam just a guy on a small island trying to feel the mazda power. only once i tried to get the car upto 180. i think it was quite nice. how am i getting to tune that carb then.

its a 626 1991. its a 2l 16v two barrel carb. it has done approx 137 000. the engine is still good. i have done a servicing on the pcv valve. dismantle the air filter, the carb and cleaned it throughout with carb cleaner. the radiator has been dismantle and cleaned. even the motor block has been...

i nd some help to tune the carb. it is actually running on a lean mixture. the engine warms up quickly and it backfires in the exhaust pipe. i have tried to search for a pic but there is no one available. could someone please help. thanks
