Check Engine Light - Code P0678 - Shift Solenoid Circuit - Help?

Anyone have any idea what this could be? And how expensive the fix is? I figured I'd have the code read at autozone before I dumped it at the mechanic, but I couldn't find much info out in the world about what to do about this or what caused it. Thanks!

    Dinged Rim Problems

So here's the issue and I hope y'all can help me. When I got the rims and tires listed in my profile I was in the middle of a road trip and had to abandon my stock rims. Now after a brutal Boston winter, I'm dealing with the less than fun situation of driving around on dinged rims (okay to...

    Rust behind wheels, on rotors

I recently got Enkei wheels and the piece behind where the wheel is bolted has been showing up with giant rust patches (the cylinder shaped piece in front of the rotor and behind the wheel). A good bit on my rotors as well. Cause? Solution? It looks like crap right now and I'd like to make it...

Road Trip Probs, New Rims, Rubbing, and Other Nonsense

I'm very happy with the rims, the car definitely looks better now. Rims were something I wanted to do further down the road after some other mods. Guess I just have to suck it up...

Road Trip Probs, New Rims, Rubbing, and Other Nonsense

So thanks to the debris covered southern roads, I took a piece of metal to the tire on the way to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Just one stop on a road trip from my summer job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama back to school in Boston, Mass. Tire couldn't be fixed and I was introduced to the wonderful...

    Tire Rubbing Help Needed Asap!!!

Thanks for all the advice! I've done some research to educate myself on this a bit (as much as I can do on a road trip)... if I go with adjustable camber bolts, I understand how they would fix the problem with rubbing on the fender lip, but what if I'm wrong and the tires are rubbing on the top...

    Help me identify these rims!

Thanks for all the attempts guys... none of them were what I saw and thanks to a road trip problem, I now have new rims and wheels, Enkei Shoguns... more details to follow, but this thread has some info on what happened so far... http://forum.protegemp3.com/vbb225/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6546

    Tire Rubbing Help Needed Asap!!!

It's much worse than putting them on right before a road trip.... I'm in the middle of the road trip right now and this happened on the road. I'll post the whole terrible story when I get home in a a week... I do believe that was a typo on the tire size. We are carrying a good bit of weight...

    Tire Rubbing Help Needed Asap!!!

I'm in the middle of a road trip and need some help really quickly... I'll post the whole story later, but thanks to the low availability of tires in the stock size for the MP5, I had to get a new set of rims and tires to get on the road (Toyo FZ4 205/40ZR16 mounted on 17x7 Enkei Shogun rims)...

    Help me identify these rims!

OH DEAR GOD NO!(moon) Those are terrible.... The ones I saw really looked like the Biohazard sign in my original post, at least they were very reminiscent of it, with the curves and all. Thanks for the try though...

    Help me identify these rims!

I saw some sweet rims on another car today and I think I'd like them for my MP5, but I don't have any clue what they are. All I know is that they very much resembled a biohazard symbol, seen below. Thanks for any info you can provide!

    Active-Matic Transmission?...

I think it's awesome! I live in the Boston metro area, so I would lose my mind sitting in traffic with a manual, which is why I got the AT. On road trips, it's great to be able to do your own shifting, I highly recommend it!:D
