Thanks for the comments guys. It is a Scirocco R and driving it has been a very enjoyable experience. Just had it tuned too so getting used to the new torque. I have no idea why VW would not sell this in the US? It makes no sense at all.

Thanks guys. Yeah I took a bit of a bold step to de-badge the whole car. Wanted a clean sort of look. :)

Tails were custom painted and lightly tinted in cherry red. Also painted the boot lip spoiler gloss black. Some imperfections in the paint job but those will be attended to soon when I have time. :) A quick pic: and...... A photograph of my 3 appeared in a local automotive design mag. ;)

That is true. I do enjoy driving without worrying about speed bumps and potholes atm. Something I need to consider. :)
