My engine just blew, 2004 6i, 51400 miles on it. 1,400 miles over warranty and the dealership is giving me a very hard time. Check out my post, I just made a post about this. I am very pissed, considering we just purchased a Mazda3 from them this past June.

I had the same problem.. Ended up throwing a rod bearing, now the engine is scrap. 1,000 miles over the warranty and they won't cover it. Get it checked right away!
