The only reason i said audio rca's as well is because he said he gets a cracking sound as well as lines.

Just trust me on grounding the shields. all you have to do is wrap a wire around the outside part of the rca (not the inner pin) and touch it to ground and then see if your lines are gone. I've seen this problem before and to remedy it I've grounded the outer shields of the audio/video rca's. That may work.
