well i have never heard of adding fluid takin care of a grinding noise when power shifting.. that only temp. hides the problem.. the real problem is your 3rd gear sinkinizer(how ever u spell it) is bad. you need to get them replace. when you do one you mine as well do all. it is a common problem...

do you have a alum. fly wheel.. if so it is probably because of it not being balanced.. but if you do no have one is most likely due to a bad throw-out bearing.. if they dry up the bearings rub against each other causeing a vibration with clutch realease..
