    What have you done to your Miata today?

    Installed my 50 trim t3/t04e to replace my little baby t3. The car pulls like mad at 10 1/2 psi. Looking at my datalogs, I'm actually maxing out my injectors at that point, so looks like an upgrade is coming my way pretty soon :D.

    Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but what is the weak point in your guy's motors? Are the rods snapping off at the small end?

    Yes. By removing the catalytic convertor (which is almost ALWAYS the biggest restriction in an OEM exhaust) you have increased the pressure differential across the turbine. Greater Δp without adjusting the wastegate will generally lead to a higher peak boost pressure.

    (dance) On it! :D This is getting installed Saturday AM along with some new driveshaft bolts. I'm hoping 12-14psi will net me 230+ at the dyno day I'm going to on the 10th.
