Yup, I have two keys. One works 100%. The other works for proximity detection; but the new card procedure requires pushing the remote open button on both existing keys which I can't do right now :( -Jeff

Same company doesn't necessarily mean same NAV model. I haven't really used Lexus or Toyota but when we test drove a Highlander my recollection is that the UI on the NAV looked much nicer than the CX-9. Like I said; I didn't see it long enough to remember specifics and maybe my first impression...

Well now I'm in trouble... I'm not willing to change my tires daily! Fortunately I'm living fine with useless winters tires on 50+ degree F days just fine :) I'm much less worried about prematurely wearing my winter tires than I was about having no control with the summer tires. -Jeff

Too big and fragile for a front pocket? I barely even know if it's in my pocket or not. It's smaller than the wallet and cell phone I put in the same pockets (although the phone and key in the same pocket doesn't work). -Jeff

I agree that it's odd that the airbag disabling system isn't factored into the nav system and that would be a pretty decent solution. On the other hand; overall I'd rather have a nav system that doesn't make decisions saftey or otherwise for me at all (just like the portables). I want a tool...

I think other threads around here have examples of 18" winter tires. Many Blizzak comments are about 18" options. -Jeff
