    I personally would do timing belt/waterpump as then you'll know that they wont leave her stranded anywhere.

    While you're there you should really replace timing belt, tensioner spring/pulley and water pump.

    Line the marks up correctly while the belt is off.

    If you can't get wheels off at junkyard then remove 2 bolts holding hub assy to strut and remve from balljoint to take the lot, or alternatively hammer a socket on the lug nuts to remove them.

    For the fronts you need calipers, caliper brackets and rotors, the 300mm mazda6 ones work with 16" wheels. For the rears the msp rears will give you the same size as mazda6 but with correct E-brake setup, you'll need calipers, caliper brackets and rotors.

    That washer is a lock washer designed to locate on the rack inner then have the outer tabs bent in against the flats on the inner tie rod end, flatten the outer tabs, then re bend once tie rod inner has been tightened.

    As the Sp20 in Australia came with 16' wheels then you will have no problem legally, you just need to source some in 4x100 pcd.

    I do have a ke tx3 steering wheel on the way for it as well as manual pedals/shift assy to go with my kh 5 speed, using kh booster, clutch hydraulics and bj 15/16" brake master cylinder.

    Not lately, putting a one owner 80k km 1986 kc laser ghia back on the road so that I can have the time for engine build/swap plus other plans.

    Difficulty: Gear Ratio change for F25M-R transmission (1999 1.8L Protege ES)

    I have recently found that the 1993 ford laser trans has a 0.731:1 5th gear set compared to the 0.775 of the f-series that came in my 2002 protege.
