cost well i did it myself and its not that bad. Id say it cost around 500$ including short shifter act clutch and pressure plate. Getting the tranny from a local junk yard for about 110$. The only two problems i have had so far is spindles the axles are bigger in diameter so i put in spinldes...

i just installed the mpi and my mpi reads differant then my stock tach but the same as my after market tach, for some reason if feels like the stock tach is correct. but may it just me but the mpi reads 1900 rpm the stock one reads 3500. has any one had this prob?
