New to Mazda, but noticed on my 2010 CX-9GT that when I am idling I hear a "ticking"sound. Is this normal? I know all engines make some noise, but never had any of my vehicles make a definitive ticking sound. Didn't know if I should take in for service? Any help is appreciated.

My factory shoes will be used for the winter months to keep the chromes looking good. Midwest winters are horrible on chrome.
