Could have been the the tire slipping losing traction....it will actually cut the motor for a split second...happened to me as well MM will definately help though

I just installed a FMIC in my 07 MS3 and CAI. I did a blow through system by moving the MAF after the BOV and before the throttle body. I was working just fine as long as I didn't mash the gas pedal(If I did it would cut out like i was hitting some sort of boost cut or something like that), so...
