I have only had the car for a week now but have a hard time going from 1-2 smoothly so have been going 1-3 and it seems to work just fine, car has plenty of power to skip gears. Anyone else do this? Or whats the trick for the 1-2 shift in normal driving?

Was a great car, had it for 7 years and over 90k miles with no major issues, if it had more aftermarket support would have kept it as a project car. It was a beast when new, but couldn't hang with the next generation of compact sports cars anymore.

First car I bought was 2000 Contour SVT Then leased a 2007 Lincoln MKZ Wasn't my style so just picked up 2008.5 GT saturday.

I just got a 2008.5 GT Saturday for 24 OTD but I had to roll in some neg equity from a lease to get it. Would have been in the 21s if I walked in with no trade. They had a 2500 rebate and were willing to sell below invoice, they still make money though so it works out for everyone.
