As a Honda Fit owner I can't help but like the Stream. The seventh seat is a big plus. I'm curious how it compares to the 5 in cargo room.

I like the Freed, though I wouldn't compare it to the 5. The Honda Stream is a lot closer to the 5. If they offered the Stream here in the U.S. I'd be torn.

I decided to ask a friend who owns a truck to teach me to drive stick, just in case he can't. I can't imagine I'll ever need to though, not in the US anyway.

The 7 seater is under consideration? With so many other 5 seater wagons on the market it will probably go unnoticed. 7 seats could be a strong selling point. Heck, they could even brag that they have one more seat than the Mazda5 :). Meh. Ford lost my business years ago when they decided...

Thanks for the tip. We're still trying to figure out if we'd want the Touring or Grand Touring. The Sport is out because I don't know how to drive stick, but I love fog lights ;). It seems to be down to these features for about $2000 Theft-deterrent security system Xenon headlights...

Oh! I'll get no protests from her. She already fell in love with the Mazda5. She told me I can get one, as long as it's blue :rolleyes:. Right now I have an 08 Honda Fit and she has an 09 Yaris. The 5 is just the natural progression up :D.

I just wanted to say hi after lurking for a few days. I don't own a Mazda5 yet, but I hope to buy one in the next year or two. I just can't get enough of the Mazda5. My fiance rolls her eyes and laughs when I point out every single one we pass on the highway. I love the Stormy Blue Mica :)
