Some issues with my new MS3

The noise you hear on start up is the VVT most likely; next time you do a cold start, have someone listen (or you listen) right over the oil cap for the a rattling/timing chain scraping on the valve cover. You can also open the oil cap up (while the car isn't on) and see how tight the timing...

clutch pedal shakes when slightly pressed

Unfortunately, this guy right here would be correct. That is the tell-tale sign of a bent rod; get that inspected before you drive the car anymore unless you want a VTA mod on your block.

    FMIC options

Core is junk. Are you running a Gen2? If so, a TMIC would not be a bad option; lowers BAT's CONSIDERABLY. Gen1=FMIC all the way.

The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I used a pair of wire cutters and clamped down as hard as i could right under the cable arm and used a pair of needle nose pliers to pop it off. Just like butta....if butta had like rocks in it or something

The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Im trying to take my jbarone short throw plate off to switch to the shortcut. Does anyone have any idea how to detach the cable arm from the ball stud? Its up higher and theres no place directly underneath to apply pressure to pop the cable off. Im already down one pair of pliers! Haha Any...

Nothing at the moment.....but its either take the test pipe off or get a cobb ap or a tune. One costs barely anything the other a ton. Kind of a no brainer with so much warranty left on the car as it is.
