Well you go the top three, C&D, R&D and Motor Trend. But my favorite without a doubt is Edmund's The Inside Line. Although I have specific car forums that I visit regularly.
The Top Gear site is good also but they don't test all cars.
I just saw it this morning and was getting ready to post it for you guys, even though I'm no longer looking to buy an MS3. I recently updated my current car to a newer model.
0-60 is slower but the 1/4 time is the same. But more important than the 1/4 time is the fact that the new MS3 is going...
And when the first road test come out don't compare those #'s against the #'s from a different source. C&D and R&D got different accelerations #'s compared to inside line. C&D and R&D usually got 0-60 in 5.5 range, Inside Line got 6.0-6.1. So only compare new VS old Speed3 #'s from same source...
If the gear ratios are better and the intercooler runs cooler, thanks to the smiley new front end, it will not be slower. Can't wait till one is officially tested.
And you are right, but those that disagree are also right. We can't all have the same taste. I like the new look, and I also like the old look. But I actually like the new look a little better.
Those of you that that don't like the new look hold off till 2011. The 2011's will have a hood...
Bingo 3-4 year only. Maybe the engines exploded at the 80k mile mark, ;) but maybe they didn't.
I tend to keep my car a long time. My 02 WRX Wagon had 130k miles on it when I traded it for my current G35Xs. I hate making car payment. I'm older and have other bills that are more important than...
Going to wait till it's officially tested. Hopefully it's not slower. I might be in the market for one. I like my car but would like something smaller, with a stick, and I would also like to lower my car payments. My job is not safe. (bang)
But I was expecting at least a couple of more HP's...
I've seen that website before. I wish I had the money to buy 2 cars and try each method out. But if braking in the car harder is going to affect the reliability of the car I'm sure you will only see it at higher mileage only.
Also testing 2 cars like that would be almost impossible and would...
I don't think there's any hard evidence that one works better than the other. It's your car and your money you will need to decide for your self. I always take it easy for the first 1k miles. I try to vary my RPM's and try to keep the revs no higher than 4K. But others will tell you to drive it...
I've read in a couple of reviews of the new 3 that the 6 speed gearbox has been improved. That's good news. Power wise it should make a couple of more HP's to compensate for the added weight. I'm guessing around 5-7 HP's more.
