Hey guys, just looking for some words of wisdom here. I'd like to convert over to a 5 lug and would also like to upgrade from rear drums. I've found a site where I can get 5 lug hub assemblies at an extremely good price and am wondering what else I would need to get that done...

I run 185s and have no problem in the snow

2002 lx 5 speed 123xxx, runs great and starts every time up to -35c so far. I'll be testing -40s within the next 2 months by the looks of things

I think those would likely rub. There's the tire recipe thread at the top to check though. Also if say to put one tire on and check before selling them, I'm fairly el cheapie when it comes to tires too, I get decent tires but waste not want not

Thanks, I've checked out the maniac one already, it's only a 140amp whereas the mechman would've been a 220 amp. Also been in contact with one of Ssa's reps and he said they might have a mechman coming out for the protege in the new year product line.
