That's probably the holes I am talking about. They are rectangular cut outs wide enough for a quarter to fit through. They are almost at the bottom of the cup holder along the back surface. Any idea why they are there. It is almost like they forgot to put an led light there or something. I...

Can anyone tell me why there are holes along the side of the cup holders in the front area? They don't seem to serve any purpose. Thanks, Ted

It was the apostrophe! I removed it and the car recognized my phone right away. Thanks for the help!

The name is in there and other radio's have picked it up, just not this one. I will try to rename and save my phone and see if that makes a difference. I am using iOS5, but the phone was named before that upgrade. I hope this works. Thanks

Hey there, Just got a Mazda CX-9, Grand Touring no nav, and have noticed spotty radio reception. Local radio stations that normally come in loud and clear are very staticky in this car. Is there anything I can do to improve reception? Thanks!
