    Post pics of your Mazda5

When the silver one gets dirty, it just looks "dull". On the darker Mazda, you can actually "see" the dirt more. (the droplet shapes from rain, etc. are more obvious.) On both the wheels are the worst part. I have about 1200 miles on the 5 now and the brake dust is just all over the place.

    Post pics of your Mazda5

Finally posting these. The little van and the big van. This is the reason why I didn't consider silver... would have looked way too similar to the Toyota.

    life of new tires

If this is the case contact your dealer about this. I'm not sure what to expect from Mazda, but when the run-flats that came with our Toyota van were worn down to nothing at 18,000 miles, Toyota eventually paid for a replacement set of tires...

    Rookie Q--How to pay?

The first car I bought "by myself" I had financed from a credit union. The dealer took a personal check on Saturday and let me drive the car out, then when I returned with the bank's check on Monday they gave me back the personal check. If you can show them a bank statement or something they...

Who bought their Mazda5 because of the Sliding Doors?

Is the close-assist something on the Touring or GT models? The doors on my sport have to be "slammed". (I've noticed the tailgate does, too. If I don't push it hard enough it latches, but not completely, which causes the light in back to stay on.) My kids are used to the power sliders on our...

Mazda5: Prices paid and related questions

That's good to know. Around here, if it snows (at all!) we just stay home. (If we're lucky: http://www.newsobserver.com/news/growth/traffic/v-print/story/224892.html)

Mazda5: Prices paid and related questions

Congrats Redlinez, Yeah, all the fees are annoying. I did get my plates a few days ago, just about 10 days after buying. Guess that $$ pays for something. The annual inspections after this one will be $30, so $9.25 isn't bad. Mike's assistant(?) had the nerve to make some comment about the...

    Mazda5 real-world Mileage numbers

My first tank on a '09 sport MT came to 24.7 mpg for purely city driving. I may try to drive "nicer" for a tank sometime to see how well I can do. My office is moving in a few weeks and my commute will involve more highway travel then, so hoping to see even better numbers. Although that move...

Mazda5 owners, the other rides (current and past)

Hrm, I think I've had boring cars. I also try to avoid thinking about new cars every few years. I'd rather spend the $$ on a pinball machine or something. Current: 2009 Mz5 Sport MT (Copper Red) 2004 Toyota Sienna XLE Ltd (Silver) (These are so close to being the same shape it's scary. I...

Mazda5 Interior / Cargo Flexibility Photos

Hi, I have 3 kids too, 6, 4, and 1. (Lived in Fort Collins for 3 years before moving to NC 4 years ago.) For us the 5 is the 2nd car, it's my daily commute-to-work car. The "family" car is an 04 Sienna, a "real" minivan. I got the 5 a week ago to replace a '96 Nissan SUV. Whether the 5...

    Mazda5 Owner's Quiz

    1. Which model / color / transmission / options / etc. did you get? 2009 Sport Manual with nothing else. 2. Whereabouts are you located? Cary, NC 3. Is this your first Mazda? Yes, I am wary as reliability is very important to me, but there's no other vehicle like the 5. 4. What other vehicles...
