That is what I was hoping to kind of figure out with this thread. If these people were to speak up, we would be able to see if they were the very early replacements. I think knowing this would maybe shut down the idea of needing this thread. I'm just super skittish on anything with this car...

Just received an email saying Mazda is still denying my claim. I don't get what the hell is going on. People are reporting that they are getting their money back.

Sorry to hear this, I despise dealers anymore, and that is coming from someone who was a parts guy for 13 years at a dealer. Not Mazda, but they are all virtually becoming the same anymore, filled with easily controllable dumb people imho. To me, this trend started somewhere around 2010-ish...

It's funny they don't list it as a recall on the recall look-up, but when you look it up on the reimbursement page it shows/says this..lol. I guess that being said, it begs the question, has anyone submitted anything yet? Assuming there will be no notification?

I'm just curious, is this an actual recall as it is labeled as a "CSP"? If you look up your vin here my vehicle isnt actually listed as having a recall. But if you look it up here, it is listed as having this issue. Will we actually be notified about this? We are pulling up on a month into...

I agree with Silly Wabbit. I replaced my first set at like 44-45k and they still looked good. I now have aprox 45k-ish on my current set. I am waiting till 50k to pull one and look at it this time around. I'd be interested to see what they look like at 50k if you are willing.

Just checking, it is now the 16th, and this morning I decided to check Mazda Customer Reimbursement and it is now listing the recall under our vehicle. In the letter I think that went out, it said to use that site. I'm just curious if anyone has submitted any invoices/paperwork back to Mazda.

Passenger side rear of engine, look at parts near the rear of the head. Also, look down on the undertray. May be worth taking off and inspecting in all honesty. The undertray is what kept me, and I'm sure countless others from seeing when the problem actually orginated.

I know this is the story of probably many like above, but is almost exactly what my wife and I experienced. Mazda will never get another dollar of my money...ever. I know I have posted our story here before, but I want people that may have not seen it, to read it. Our CX9 had 61k and was 4-5...
