ok, i found everything i need locally, other than dash kit. would it be ok to just get a universa american internationall din pocket filler instead of a dash kit? would that not fit as well/look as nice?

yeah, intake is first on the list, but this week im putting in a new head unit for mp3 playback, and ipod aux in. ill post pics when im done wit all that. also, im in high school workin on a cvs pharmacy paycheck, so the mods will come slowly :(

Thanks a bunch man, i got the stock radio out, and ur right the ford bracket did not fit, So i new mazda aftermarket bracket, did u say there was a part #, i dont see it. and also what adapter do i need to fit the reciever?

Hey, new to the forums, new to mazda. I got my '02 p5 last week and to my dismay its stock reciever wont even play burnt cds, and doesnt work very well with itrip either. So, im gonna move my sony fcx-7700 from my explorer to the mazda, with ipod via line in. Ive never installed myself...
