he's asking about the rota as linked above, at 18x8.5+48... with a 235/40/18 or 245/40/18, instead of the 225/40/18 as pictured in the thread.

I guess my question is are they using a shorter tire because of fitment issues?

good to know, thanks for the link. has anyone tried this fitment with a wider/taller tire? 245/40/18? or at least a tire that's about the same height as stock? (I don't want to give up any gearing)

18x8.5 +48 would be .4" closer to the strut, my guess is that it'd hit http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp

yup agreed, they look great. did you have any conversations about going wider with less of an offset? I'm an autocrosser and was looking at these @ 18x8+40 or 18x8.5+35..

yeah, looks good. what width and offset did you go with? looks like this wheel comes in a few workable configurations.

more importantly.... the AD08 was reviewed!
