Problem seems to have started when I burnt the clutch out. Was there before clutch replacement. Battery light came on a few days latter. Machanic who fitted alternator says this could of spiked at higher voltage. The car will start and rev but soon reverts back into limp mode.

No the car will drive in all gears. Had a new clutch fitted at the same time. As I thought this was the problem. The car has now power after about 3000revs

Had the battery light come on. Fitted new battery. New alternator. No alarms now but car is in limp mode. Have had the ecu read message says communication error. Can anyone help.
