I am not sure about the Piranha system, however the Rosen bluetooth works just as any other bluetooth system does. Its quick and easy and still allows u to use the phone steering wheel controls. Also the call quality is clear. The Ipod cable just works fine along with and can be navigated...

Audio quality is very good as well. I am not sure about the bose hookups as mine came with standard radio unit and rosen was just installed straight into the dash. Also u can listen to songs via usb card which can be installed into the second usb slot which is standard in addition to the ipod...
