    Square Push Button Dash Switch?

Thanks for your help. I didn't think about possibly using the existing blank button on top of the switch. I'll just have to open things up and take a look one day.

    Square Push Button Dash Switch?

I was hoping to use one of the blank/dummy slots, but I thinkin it will be hard to find a switch that matches or blends in well with the others. But putting one by itself, in some other location, may be the easiest option.

    Square Push Button Dash Switch?

Looking at installing some LED strobe type lights into the headlights and rear lights of my cx-5 sport. I pull off onto the shoulders a good bit, and I feel like I need more than the built-in hazard lights for safety. I like the idea of having permanent hideaway lights installed instead of a...

    Spotted

Finally spotted one in east AL. Closest Mazda dealers are in Birmingham and Atlanta, so no surprise on the rarity. Even it had a Bham tag, so after 4 months of ownership I may still have the only CX-5 on the area.

Shifting from 1st gear to 2nd gear

Same issue here. I'm going easy with it right now, but I'll take it in at my first oil change (I'm at 2600 miles right now). I've had some annoying shifting issues since day one. I was able to test drive a different manual before I bought mine, and it seemed to be much smoother in operation...

Check Engine Light - Knock Sensor

MedCenter customer here as well. Glad they have been on top of things and hopefully they have tracked down the problem.

Last 3 tanks 36.3 MPG, 36.5 MPG, 35.3 MPG, with an Auto

Leave it in gear, or even downshift on severe slopes to help with braking. I've read the same as you as far as fuel mileage goes. You could check it yourself by using the cars mpg computer, and try to test it numerous times under similar conditions.

Another newbie here...loving my new silver sport manual

This morning it was back to being a little rough, but I think it is getting better. Like others have said, I think most of it is about learning it's "personality". I used to have a Honda Civic that was rough and never got better after a few months. I replaced the tranny fluid with Redline and...

Another newbie here...loving my new silver sport manual

My dealership did have to look out of state to get one. I looked at them for a couple of months before buying, and they never had a manual to test drive. Definitely hard to find, especially a silver. Last I looked there were still several in black here in the Southeast.

Another newbie here...loving my new silver sport manual

On the way home today I think I may have figured out the 3rd to 4th shift problem. When I drive I lean a good bit over to the center with the left hand on the wheel. I know it may sound silly, but I think my alignment was causing me to pull it down a little too far to the right toward 6 and...

Another newbie here...loving my new silver sport manual

Coming from a Nissan Frontier 4x4 truck, so the CX-5 is definitely different. The Frontier was my first auto tranny, so it's good to be back with the manual after 5 years (besides forgetting to push in the clutch the first time I tried to start it, it's been smooth sailing). The CX-5 is what I...
