No defects on my CX-5, 3,000 miles on it and love it! Are there some little things I wish were different, sure but that list is minor in comparison to all the positives.

I turn the temp dial to hot and turn off the recirculate if it has been humid and run it like this for a few minutes and the smell has disappeared for me.

Wow lucky you, yours came with a free bolt! Now you have an extra to keep in the glove box. It's certainly not big enough to worry about, it would be impossible to find where it would go and like others said looks like it was never installed.

I purchased the all weather floor mats and cargo liner, they fit and look great. They don't have the big water trapping look like the Weathertech style so if you need that feature don't get the OEM. My only complaint with the OEM mats, the rubber is a flat black and shows dirty foot prints...

You bought the right one then, in my opinion it drives more like a sedan than an SUV. It's no race car but certainly the best in it's class. If you really want to improve the handling you can always put some lowering springs and sway bars on it and really have some fun.

When Mazda says they are working on a "fix: I believe it relly means this will be for the new models meaning an entirely different head unit and not a fix for existing models. I hope I'm wrong but I get that feeling they can't fix the issue without replacing the entire head unit and I just can't...

That is great design for lightweight hitch design. I would assume it "cluncks" a little more than standard hitch as it will have two places with slip fit but for aesthetics that is sweet!

My kids are the same way on beating up the plastic covers so I was considering those but thought they were too in your face so to speak and whatever you put there is going to show damage anyway. I'm just going to let them get beat up and replace with the factory plastic when they are toast. As...

The sticker is near the drivers door striker will give you the build date. Luckily mine shows 11-2013.

I just got one off Ebay for $159 shipped but agree it's over-priced, but so is everything else. But it works well and is a nice feature to have since there is noplace to hide things from view.

Purchased and installed the OEM cargo cover, I like how it's attached to the rear gate and lifts out of the way. Ebay price was quite a bit bettter than the dealer.

Have not tried the steps yet, just too busy with other obligations. The idea of trying a faster card is also something I will do. I'll let you know when I get it done.

The only thing "smart" are the manufacturers and dealers at finding ways to rip the consumer off. If the programmed FOB actually made it impossible to steal the car then it would be worth it. Well I hate to break the news to you but the "smart FOB" only keeps the honest from stealing the car...
