My understanding was that TSB only covered the 2013 models. The one I drove was a 2014, hence my skepticism about the "fix." I don't think anyone has had this TSB completed on a 2014 but I could be wrong.

What is interesting about the hood and mirror shake is that they have a TSB and say that cars made after a certain date (Nov 16, 2012 for mirror and April 18, 2012 for hood) should be fixed. Clearly it looks like cars manufactured after that date are still having problems. All very odd.

The funny thing is that I've been looking at the hood of my '98 camry that I've been driving for a long time and can see some instances where the hood vibrates today at speed. Good points. I don't think it requires service being done at the specific dealer. I do think they require that you document all the routine maintenance and keep on top of the manufacturer specified maintenance schedule.

A couple of the dealerships in MN offer a "lifetime" powertrain warranty for cars purchased through them. Does anyone know anything about these offers or have you used them in the past. The dealers' websites claim that the value is "$2200" but I am generally skeptical of any kind of "free"...
