Koni's do raise the front. It should not be a full inch, I've heard 5/8ths.
It was noticeable on my car, but not so much where I gave it a second thought. Possibly because my springs give the car a slight rake and the 2 counteract each other.
I drove for about 5k miles without cutting the bump stops, bone jarring. Then took about an 1.5" the rear and 1" off the front, much better. Then put in Koni yellows, no problems.

I'm curious if some one has a good sound clip.
Around where I live theres a guy who did something similar, and it sounds like complete rice when hes WOT.
I think I'll stick with installing the Borla.
