I got it. The bracket on the right side was completely out of whack. I took the glovebox out and went at it from that angle, no problem.

The left side wants to come out no problem. The right side doesn't seem like it even has clips. The removal tools just want to go in all the way without engaging anything. When I think something is engaged, I bend them outwards as per the instructions, and the damn tools just bend. I'm getting...

I can't for the life of me disengage the right side. The left side is loose and wants to come out, but the right side is just stuck. I can't feel the clips or anything, the removal tools just want to go all the way in. This sucks!

I know somebody has a shock that they know they're not going to use again. With as many people on here who are on aftermarket shocks and springs it's unlikely that NOBODY has an OEM shock laying around.

Unfortunately my driver's side front endlink ripped the mount right off the shock. I don't have the funds to go all out and redo everything, so I need a temporary fix for the time being. Hopefully one of you has an OEM shock laying around that you're willing to part with. I only need the...

Ever felt a car buck when you take off without enough throttle? Like that times 10. Mixed with the feeling of severe wheelhop. It's horrible, but thankfully I only experience it once a week at most, and I can force it not to happen if I need to so it's not a huge deal.

I know motor mounts wouldn't cause what my car's doing. I saw something similar in my searches though and that's why I said it didn't make sense to me. The good news is I live less than 5 miles from work, so this is rarely an issue. I'd just like to find the most cost effective way to go about...

Looks good. I'm in TX, so 15% all around is what I went with, Llumar as well. It makes a huge difference in the summer. I can't drive a car without tint anymore. It's always my first "mod".

That's good input, thanks. The tweeter in question is rather large, so I'd probably have to fab something if I went with an a-pillar or sail panel mount. Not the end of the world though.

That does help, thanks. You don't have any problems with the driver's side tweeter being too close to your ear? I was concerned about that with that location. Thanks for the pic, that gives me a good idea.
