Thanks very much for your reply. My window does look the same as yours. Managed to also compare to another CX9 in the car park during the day and found the same. My fault for panicking. See photo.

Just completed a 5 hour trip during a rainy night and then after unloading the car at the destination, noticed that the rear window wiper actuator protrudes through the rear windscreen without a seal of some sort. Does anyone know if I've lost the seal, or is this the design?
