    Yes, we checked the codes many times. We repeatedly got a code for "Purge solenoid valve", but nobody could imagine what that might have to do with the flashing "O/D Off" light. chris

    "O/D Off" light flashing

    "O/D Off" light flashing: Problem Solved !!! It was caused by a vacuum leak through a cracked rubber cap that was supposed to seal an unused vacuum port that hooked into the purge solenoid valve. Car has 107K miles so it's a no-brainer to look for defective rubber anything at that age...

    "O/D Off" light flashing

    On my 1995 626 4 cyl AT. Transmission just rebuilt, but the "O/D Off" light keeps flashing. We zero out the error codes and the flashing "O/D Off" light goes away. But if I accelerate to get onto the freeway it comes right back on. Any ideas? chris Bremerton, WA 98312
