the GTI has like a lever on the side that u can have the whole seat lift up or down. When i have it all the way down I have about a foot of headroom if not more.. im 6'2 so im not as tall as you guys but maybe those seats weren't all the way down.. I have the sport seats plus no sunroof :D...

Besides in the AWD and AWP engines the the k03 sport turbo which has K04 fins and that will hold boost a little better then the regular k03 turbos.. so the newer ones will see better power off the stock turbo then the older ones..
