    You might be right but at the same time most people go with a test pipe do to the tone it gives you. Thats why i did it.

I cut the tips off so I still look stock with the test pipe at idle most can't tell i have it. but from mid to high rang it opens up. also at low range let off the gas it has a nice deep louder tone as it slows down.     i see this at about 10-25% throttle when i let off for about spit sec. never holds. not sure at what load and would say the most 10psi of boost.
