There’s just some screws and clips holding it in place. It’s not difficult to drop the undercarriage cover panel under the car and take a peak inside to fix it.
No way the whole bumper needs replacing. I replaced my reflectors with led lights (2019) and there was just a few screws per light.
After a number of FW changes the software/device gets locked. Just fill out a support ticket on their website and they will reset it on their end so you can then flash the newest version.

That’s the benefit of aftermarket remote starters. I have a EVO-ONE I installed (and have drone mobile so I can use my phone/watch) and I can open the car door and it will remain running. Just press start/stop and off I go.
Not at all. The new 8mm bolts also had a Phillips head in them. I used my drill with a 90 degree adapter with zero clearance issues.
