As long as it’s the same generation, it should be fine. You cannot mix newer gen (7) with previous (6) nor vice versa.

@Tate@1993 as I asked via DM, how have you formatted the drive? I strongly recommend using a 16gb or less drive, which needs to be formatted to FAT32.

You can always try to update directly to 74 from 55. But the general consensus is that you need to update to 70 before 74, when you are below 59.

Which 12.3” screens? Curious more than anything.

From what I am reading there has not been any FW releases for the 2024 CX-50 nor the 70, just FYI. I'll keep looking to see if I find any!
