Awesome install! Can't believe you got the entire headliner out! Wow!! One note: You mention you wanted a switch to turn the backup camera on at any time. If you hold the NAV button down for 1 sec on the Kenwood, that will give you the reverse camera at any time (not just while in reverse)...

I ended with those gaps around the A/C knobs and buttons too. It's appears the metra dash kit is just a tad too thick. But the gap isn't enough to worry about. Just not as nice a fit as the OEM dash... but much nicer sound, eh! (thumb)

Yes, the display and the bluetooth are in the head unit. But when replacing the head unit, the clock and the A/C-fan-temp portions of the dash display still work. Only the middle portion of the display (the section that says "hello!") will no longer operate. FYI, my aftermarket headunit...
