We looked at it today. It doesn't leak oil doesn't grind gears either. Is there anything I need to look at on the engine common issues?

I am new to rotary engines. I have just found today a 1980 mazda rx-7 with a 117000 miles on the engine. I need some opinions on whether this is worth my time and money or if this is just going to crap out on me. I would appreciate the input
