Whats the Trade in Value of MSP?

03 Black MSP, 3000 miles = $13,500, three dealers came back with this exact number and said they overallowed by $1,000. They said auction has them going for $12,500 with that low of miles. Don't know how much of that was BS.

    My MSP is no more

AWD doesn't come in stick right now. Also, I prefer AWD as I don't ever drive in real inclimate weather. As far as Sedan vs. Coupe. Road & Track tested the auto's, and the sedan was .1 second faster. Another magazine tested the sedan at 5.6 and the Coupe at 5.7. The Coupe weighs 100lbs more...

    My MSP is no more

I'm almost 6'1 and my head was touching the roof. Also, at 6'1 no one would be sitting behind me. I also thought the front seats moved too slow, it would take almost 10 seconds to get the seat in the parked position to allow someone in/out of the car. The sedan works better for my lifestyle...

    My MSP is no more

First, I recently turned 22. Second, I went in to look at the Coupe, but it really isn't as good of a deal as the Sedan. The sedan is faster (magazines and by feel) because it's lighter. The 20HP difference is more marketing then real HP difference. The sedan is cheaper The sedan had a lot...

    My MSP is no more

I traded it in; I only got $13,500 for it with 3000 miles, but I only paid $15,900 so it wasn't THAT bad. Anyways, I loved the way it handled, but driving it to work every morning to hear every bushing squeak was a bit agrivating. Also was to un-easy feeling I got from running the MBC (which...

Who has the most miles on their MSP???

2900, just had it's three month anniversary on Wednesday.

Well maybe a MSP after all????

I got my black one for $15,900. All 03's were 15,900 and all 03.5's were 16,400 for about 2-3 weeks in October. These were advertised newspaper specials, thus no bargaining was needed. Pretty painless negotiations. A PR5 could be had for $11,000 at the same time as well.

Well maybe a MSP after all????

Ouch, 1000 miles on a new car?

Well maybe a MSP after all????

I'll sell you mine with 2900 miles (black) perfect condition, never been redlined (yet), has had one oil change already. You could have it for $15,800 :) If you act fast I may lower the price even more ;)

    7.5 hr drive... silly question

Hmm, well anything that can start a fire is under the hood of your car, not the rear area where you're filling the gas. People who light themselves on fire at a gas station (which I've never seen or heard of) probably deserve it. You are right about shutting it off for two minutes won't cause...

    7.5 hr drive... silly question

Yeah shutting the car off is not necessary. In cold climates you'll see that no one ever does it. Also, it will throw a CEL code, but generally after a LONG time of no gas cap. I've never seen a CEL thrown just from filling up gas.

    7.5 hr drive... silly question

Don't shut your engine off when you fill your gas, and then let it cool for 5 minutes as you unpack your luggage.

    Yet another blown engine!

Another one bites the dust... I'm curious if most of the blown engine people encountered the failure (blow) at or around redline or around 4000 RPM or so? Please answer. Also, I've noticed a growing trend of engines blowing while showing the car off to friends, etc. It makes me wonder if the...

    MSP re-sale value

I love how they try and screw you after you bought THEIR car. Wait a month or so and the blue book will be posted. I'm expecting it to be around $15500 trade-in, but that's my guess. Edmunds has it at 16500 for trade-in but they're not as legit. It's just too early.

    MSP re-sale value

There was one storm damaged car I read about going for $15k but it wasn't in Texas. Hell we haven't had a storm in Texas yet. All the MSP's here are in perfect shape.
